lol anyways I’ve been playing maplestory awhile probably that why i cant think of anything to post at the moment lol so i probably wont update awhile ^^

Windows vs Mac

I’ve been searching Windows vs Macs and i found that Windows fanatics claims that Windows is the best OS in the world and Mac users claim that Mac is the Best OS in the world so it end up in a endless argument. The truth is actualy both are pretty good OS with different kernels and GUI.Now we will look at the difference between the two OS and learn about the difference.(I cant believe I’m copy and pasting)

My Own Opinion:

• Mac wins in security because people dont make any virus for Mac but Windows can pretty much catch up using 3rd party Anti-Virus lolz
• Windows looks cooler than Mac..Search a screenshot of the first mac os and compare it with mac os x leopard It didnt change a bit lolz

Typography – Mac’s support of typography is a result of years and years involvement with the pre-press industry. Type-styles rendered with a Mac just plain transfer better when submitted to a service bureau. You get what you saw. If you’re into pre-press Mac is the clear winner here.

Video Subsystem – Windows open architecture and PCI bus allow a wide non-saturated video subsystem. Video cards are made which exceed 6 Gigaflops of geometric rendering. Mac, though PCI, has a severely bottle-necked video subsystem so if you’re into advanced 3-D rendering, Windows is the clear winner here.

Postscript Support – Mac natively supports both postscipt and PDF formats making them the clear winning here. Again, if you’re into pre-press, Mac makes a lot of sense.

Back to Resources Raw Speed – Windows PCs have a serious edge here. Where time is money, processor speed can be very important. Regardless of how hard Mac advertising attempts to claim that the slower clock speed Macs are really just as fast as a PC, it just ain’t so and proven so by every bench test out there. If you have the “need for speed” in gaming, software development, 3D rendering and other applications, Windows is the clear winner here.

Color Matching – Apple is the only OS and hardware which supports Colorsync™, the industry standard for “what you see is what you get” color matching. If you want your advertising copy of an egg to come out of the press with the same yellow you saw on the screen, Mac is for you.

Web Design – Now this will be a hot one. In my opinion the clear choice here is Windows. I say this for two reasons.

* First, 95% of the people surfing the Web use Windows on PCs. If you want to be able to design in an atmosphere where you see pretty much what that 95% sees, then Windows just plain makes sense.
* Secondly, though many technologies are available for the Mac, Windows technology isn’t and much of the Web uses this technology. If you want to take advantage of .NET technology or ASP, it’s just way easier to implement from a Windows platform.

Ease of Use – I give Mac the edge here, though the difference is pretty small with the release of Windows XP. Windows binary Plug-in-Play is no longer “Plug-n-Pray” and though technologically superior to Mac doesn’t get the job done as nicely. By using nearly draconian messures and monopolistic threats, Apple has been able to maintain tight control over makers of third party hardware. What this means to you is an easier to use system, but with much less choice in add-ons.

Software Availability – Though many might argue that anything you might need is available for Mac, and though almost all generic task software is, industry specific software is not. For example, if you own.. say a lawnmower repair shop, you might want software written exclusively to run lawn mower repair shops. You just won’t find it on the shelf or by mail order for the Mac, while you have several to choose from for Windows, maybe even for free or cheap as shareware downloads.

You might argue that you can adapt database and spreadsheet software to need, but it’s just not as easy. Advantage to Windows.

Coolness Factor – What can I say? Mac wins. Look at that new i-Mac or the i-Pod. It beats a biege box.

Geek Factor (I’m one) – Windows wins (Linux beats that and BSD might beat Linux)

If you see that Civilization Boring try Rise of Nation its a RTS version of Civilization its developed by Big Huge Games and publish by microsoft(curse you microsoft =p lolz) on may 20 2003. The development of the game was a led by Brian Reynolds, of Civilization II. The Concepts was taken from Turn-based strategy games have been added into the game–including territories and attrition warfare.R.O.N feautures 18 Civilization, playable through 8 ages of world history

The Gameplay is pretty simple just like all strategy game but this one works like a chess so Players who develop a balance tend to be better than those who only build one or other units.Because every unit in the game is strong against certain units and weak against other(like pikeman can counter heavy cavalry units, heavy cavalry units counter bowmen, bowmen can counter pikeman) and terrain and millitary tactics also matter, a keen sense of generalship is required to make the best use of one army. Flanking are made possible as attacks from the side and will do more damage than frontal assaults

There might be 100 or more types of unit in R.O.N. Military units are created at barracks,stable(later upgraded in Auto Plant),Siege factory(will become Factory) , Dock , Airfield , Missle silo and Fortresses.

10 Tips on CIV 3

I’ve been playing Civ3 but most of my friends don’t wanna play it cause they see it as a hard game.(They actually just attack without thinking so they just cant win)So i just wanna post this tips to make the game easier.

Tip 1: Remember that quick decision are always bad decision

Tip 2: Remember in the beginning of the game, don’t waste time producing wealth in cities and make workers instead and get the land cultivated

Tip 3:Read and study the timelines for the Game of the Month “Quick Start Challenge” to see the early game moves of the very good players.This will dramatically improve your opening moves -handy900

Tip 4: build roads and connect cities,luxuries, resources(Iron and stuff) and to reduce corruption(duh..) and increase trade.

Tip 5:I also recommend that don’t use the darn governors!! take your time to manage cities!!!

Tip 6: You got to disband some units too to reduce expenses

Tip 7: Please think twice before making a move

Tip 8: When you reach industrial age always take out your opponent’s rubber first

Tip 9: Save the game before you make a risky move

I’ve been playing CIV 4 for awhile i really like it so i thought i will share it to everyone.Its pretty boring when you play it like 8 hours cause everyone got tanks and you cant enjoy medieval warfare.

Civilization 4 is a turned-based strategy Game created by Firaxis it was realeased in 2005 and was the Fourth installment of CIV series. Civilization allows you to buld an empire from very limited initial resource. All standarf full-length games begin in 4000BC with a setller who builds a single city.
