I’ve nearly discover that all basic windows can do can be done in linux….I’ve been spending my time today exploring linux as far as it can do.
Even better than windows and more stable! linux can do website publishing,Creating docs, reading email. and explore the internet it can even read my sd card.(I just mount it) I can even print on it and better than windows, although linux doesn’t support much hardware yet. Linux also is compose of really cool webbrowsers like firefox, and Epiphann.
but there are things that linux can’t do such as visiting a site that IE only pages(which i don’t visit) ***Think*** And nothing else! You could also use Scribus for desktop publishing..(My father uses Microsoft Publisher), And create webpages using NVU and Dreamweaver and etc. and anything that windows can do! but only more stable..
